2001
The team founder, Lance Liggin, got involved with the MS 150 in 2001. He
didn’t have enough people to form a team and rode along side his
friend Martin Wilson. The next year, they got serious!
2002
This year Lance officially formed a team
and named it for his wife Nancy. Team Noodle was born! We had 7
riders this year and raised $5,539 as a team. The Georgia
Chapter raised $437,349 for the 2002 Bike Tour.
2003
The year rolled around quickly and Steve Webb took over as team captain.
We had 5 riders this year and raised $6,700 as a team. The
Georgia Chapter raised $383,381 with 735 riders for the 2003
Bike Tour.
2004
Lance started an annual golf tournament and auction to raise money for the
MS Society. He had about 60 players and raised a total of $7,900
from the tournament and auction. Steve managed to get a few new
riders while Lance and Nancy volunteered along with Steve’s wife
Emily. Our team of 8 riders raised $12,504 and we were the 7th
ranked team in the Georgia Chapter! The Georgia Chapter raised
$463,216 with 686 riders for the 2004 Bike Tour.
2005
Lance followed up from the success he’d had with the golf tournament and
had 124 golfers and raised over $16,000 at the tournament and
auction. The team really ramped up with Steve as captain and we
had 28 riders! Team Noodle ended up raising $29,031 and was the
5th ranked team in the Georgia Chapter! The Georgia Chapter
raised $623,989 with 912 riders for the 2005 Bike Tour.
2006
Our team of raised $680 in the 2006 MS150 Georgia Power Savannah Ride and
22 team riders raised $32,204 2006 MS150 Cox Atlanta Ride. With
1,095 riders in the 2006 MS150 Cox Atlanta Ride and 63 riders in
the 2006 MS150 Georgia Power Savannah Ride, the Georgia Chapter
raised a combined total of $996,428!
2007
This was a historic year for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society -
Georgia Chapter! Our team participated in the 2007 MS150 Georgia
Power Savannah Ride and 21 team riders raised $28,118 2007 MS150
Cox Atlanta Ride. With 1,035 riders in the 2007 MS150 Cox
Atlanta Ride and 240 riders in the 2007 MS150 Georgia Power
Savannah Ride, the Georgia Chapter raised a combined total of
$1,013,698! Raising more than 1 Million for the first time in
the Georgia Chapter Bike Tour history!
Team Noodle founder and member, Lance Liggin, was named the 1st Place
Individual Top Fundraiser for the 2007 Cox MS 150 Atlanta
Challenge!
2008
Our team raised $3,910 in the Bike MS: Georgia Power Savannah Ride 2008
and 27 team riders raised $29,969 Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride
2008. With 1,358 riders in the Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride 2008
and 307 riders in the Bike MS: Georgia Power Savannah Ride 2008,
the Georgia Chapter raised a combined total of $1,103,792!
Team Noodle founder and member, Lance Liggin, was named the 2nd Place
Individual Top Fundraiser for the 2008 Cox MS 150 Atlanta
Challenge!
2009
Our team of 10 raised $2,870 in the Bike MS: Georgia Power Savannah Ride
2009! With only 285 participants, the Bike MS: Georgia Power
Savannah Ride 2009 raised a total of $122,025. Congratulations
to Cindy Heim for being in the coveted Top 25 Club!
Our team of 28 raised $19,116.06 in the Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride 2009.
With only 1,173 participants, the Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride 2009
raised a total of $805,486! Congratulations to Lance Liggin,
Juanice Christian and Steve Webb for being in the coveted Top
100 Club!
2010
Our team of 1, Cindy Heim, rode in the brand new Bike MS: Atlanta to
Athens Ride 2010 and raised $455. A group of us packed a good
punch at a break point and had a great time cheering in the
riders! The ride had approximately 250 riders and raised around
$180,000.
Our team of 26 riders and 8 volunteers raised $21,003 in the Bike MS: Cox
Atlanta Ride 2010. With only 1,268 participants, the Bike MS:
Cox Atlanta Ride 2010 raised a total of $911,000!

We’re aiming higher!!!
This is the 27th Anniversary for Bike MS in Georgia and the 12th Anniversary for Team Noodle. Our team goal is
for 45 riders to raise $35,000 in
the 2013 Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride.
2012
2012 was the
11th Anniversary for Team Noodle. Our team
of 38
riders and 6 volunteers raised $18,789
in the 2012 Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride! Team Noodle was ranked #10
out of 65 teams and helped raise over $850,000!

2011
This was the 25th Anniversary for the Bike MS in Georgia and the 10th
Anniversary for Team Noodle.
Our team of 45 riders and volunteers raised $21,987 in the 2011 Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride!
With over 1,900 registered for the 2011 Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride and 200+ registered for the Atlanta to Athens Ride we help raise over 1.2 Million!
